GEOGRAPHY OF MESOPOTAMIA

Mesopotamia is Greek for "land between two rivers."

The rivers are the Tigeris and Euphrates.

Mesopotamia is made up of different regions, each with their own geography. Natural resources found there affected the ways that they live.

Northern Mesopotamia made of hills and plains.

Southern Mesopotamia is made of marshy areas wide flat barren planes. The land is fertile due to rivers and seasonal rain. Early setters farmed and used timer. Those are some descriptions.

Mesopotamia is one of the cradles of human civilization. The first city-state was gradually developed in southern Mesopotamia.
