LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE

What is latitude and longitude? Latitude lines go north and south. Longitude lines go east to west. They are used for a specific location, like a grid. Latitude measures how far north or south a place is from the equator. Longitude measures how far east or west a place is from the Prime Meridian. You measure latitude and longitude in degrees. Half of the earth is 180 degrees. That is latitude and longitude.
