RELIGION OF MESOPOTAMIA
Mesopotamian religion was full of had exciting things. They many gods that they prayed to such as Anu ,who was the god of heavens and king of the gods. The people of Mesopotamia prayed by the ziggurats, but not in them. They use to believe in demons and thought gods made the demons. When a natural disaster or not they believe they have made a god angry. Every city had their own god or goddess to bring them joy, for example, Utu. The demons were created by gods that had human bodies and animals or bird heads. Priests were the only ones to go into ziggurats. Mesopotamia priests were in charge of keeping the environment. Some parts of Mesopotamian believe in one god and other parts have many gods.
