TECHNOLOGY OF EGYPT

 

Egyptians invented things we still use today. This is an example of an Egyptian invention: the water clock was the second clock made in history. It was made in the time period of 1417-1379 B.C.

 

Wigs: Egyptians cut their hair in the summer because they were always hot. They always used wigs to keep pests away from their heads.

 

Black ink: Blank ink was use dot write. Blank ink was made from vegetable gum and organic material.

 

Written language: You can use painting to write. The Egyptians invented that in 6000 B.C.

 

Solar clock: The Egyptians could tell where the sun was positioned in the sky and know the time of day.

 

Ox-drawn plow: It was made to carry things without human force.
