CJ Lynce

 

Manager of Tech Central for Cleveland Public Library

“If you have an idea, do it.” These wise words came from a great man named CJ Lynce. He works at the Cleveland Public library downtown, and in the library there is a place called Tech Central. He said, “the best part about it is helping people and the worst part can be the grumpy people he deals with.” CJ Lynce is a modern day Cleveland Renaissance person because he is making a difference in promoting technology literacy for all.

 

CJ Lynce works at Cleveland public library. He shows people how to use computers. He made something called the “Maker space. “The “Maker space” is a place in the Cleveland public library were you could create things. They have a computer laser, you could make your own personalize stickers, and also they have their very own 3-D printer. It is a place to be creative and yourself.

    

“I was good at using computers and I like to help people”. He said he “loved to take apart computers and put them back together again.” He said when he was a student at the University of Akron he knew what he wanted to do because he “loved to help people and he loves technology and science.” The combination of these elements makes Lynce a powerful Cleveland contributor.

 

CJ Lynce did not always want this job when he was younger. He loved science and he used to take things apart and loved putting them back together. His dream job when he was younger was to be an astronaut and he even went to space camp. He devoted a lot of tome into being an astronaut. But one day he just did not feel it any more so he stopped running after his dream of being an astronaut. He went were his love of technology and science is satisfied. So he went to the Cleveland public Library.

 

After CJ Lynce is done working for Cleveland public Library he will retire and he wants to drive a semi-truck. CJ Lynce wants to drive a semi-truck because he doesn’t get to travel a lot. He has gotten married is expecting his first baby! It is evident after meeting him that he loves what he does for living.

 

We thank CJ Lynce for doing what he does best. What he does best is helping our city and inspiring us to do better things in our life. He helps people with his strong understanding of our worlds technology and his strong love of science. CJ Lynce will do great thing for our city of Cleveland. CJ Lynce is a true Cleveland Renaissance man.
