“I hope that all kids no matter where they had grown up or what their background was, have a good education and have a chance to go to college and succeed” Holly Trifiro says about her career. Holly Trifiro is a 29 years old Executive Director of Teach for America. She is loyal to her community and to kids and children. This is Holly Davis cause and what she wants out of her cause.  And she thinks that everyone can do well and succeed going into high school and college.

Holly was a teacher before she became an executive director for Teach for America. She says that “I should teach before I start making the rules about education”. The reason why she was interested in her cause is “Southing is a small town and when I was in middle school all my teachers used to tell me that I was a really good student and I can do whatever I wanted to do when I grow up. But for my younger brother it was different there used to say that he was a bad kid and not very bright. So he had dropped out of school. So what I do, I take it very personally”.  That’s why Holly Trifiro had an interest in her cause and loves working there and helping kids out.

Teach for America is an organization that coaches teachers the right thing to teach better. And to help kids graduate high school and college. What Holly believed is what is happening right now in America is that “ children who grow up in an low in come community that have that much graduates as high income community which have a lot of graduates than kids in low income communities  ”. Another thing that Teach for America does is they send people out to one of their schools and they ask students “are you learning a lot in your classes?” And that’s how they know if they are doing the right thing. This is what Teach for America does.

Holly Trifiro loved her students and planning lessons each day when she was teaching. But the one thing she didn’t like or the obstacle that she overcame when she was teaching “my first day of teaching I didn’t know what to expect”. She loved to teach, but she also loves educational law. I asked a question about what was an interesting story. Her response was “Teach for America started two years ago, the founder was Wendy Krupp and I had 40 teachers to coach, and lot of places to go so everything just happened so fast”. She is making by coaching teaching and building partnerships with more and more schools so more kids can get a good education.

What Holly Trifiro wants is to have kids get a good education and would like everyone to go to high school and to college. She still wants that in the future of her career. Holly Trifiro has and six month old baby son. When asked what do you want your son to do when he grows up? And she had says “I would want my child to care about people and help them go to college”. She also has a scientist husband which they have been married for 7 seven years.

Holly Trifiro is a renaissance person in Cleveland because she does more to the community than she needs too. She oversees a team and a group of teachers who teach students in Cleveland, recruit teachers, and builds partnerships with schools so more and more school can be a Teach for America school. I think my school should be a Teach for America school because I know that Holly Trifiro is on the job. Holly Trifiro is a real citizen to our community.
