Are you a pet parent who has had to pay thousands of dollars for vet bills? Laura Bennett saw this as unfair, so she created an organization to provide people with pet health insurance, called Embrace Pet Insurance. This makes her a special person here in Cleveland because her cause is helping so many people be able to afford what could be very costly amounts from vet bills.  She lives in Cleveland, OH also she told me about her about her favorite thing about Cleveland and said, “The people because they make up the place and they are very interesting.

 

Laura Bennett is the CEO and cofounder of pet insurance. Pet in insurance is when you avoid financial crisis when your pet gets into an accident or get sick. This is very helpful if you have a cat or dog. She gained this idea of making her organization of pet in in insurance by seeing how terrible and unfair it was that you had to pay a lot of money for little things like you dog or cat getting sick, so she took it into her own hands and created her organization and now her business insures over 5,000 pets.

 

What inspired Laura Bennett to make her dream or her future to be successful is going to a great college in her beliefs. Laura Bennett went to the University of West Montero for four years and there she studied mathematics and she said it was really hard. Also the high school she went to was a boarding school in England. Laura Bennett told me that one of her best or favorite thing about her college experience and she told me “Receiving my MBA in college and I climbed the highest mountain”

 

Some advantages of Laura Bennett’s job is one she said seeing her business grow with the number of people insuring their pets for pet insurance and two the number of workers growing. Laura Bennett even said a quote for this she said “It’s like a seed you planted and watching that seed grow into a healthy plant”. The seed is her business and she is watching it grow. Laura Bennett said that there were many supporters when she was trying to create and run her business and she named them she said “Yes I had many supporters including my parents, my husband, my kids, my college teachers and even many people I met in Cleveland”. That’s a lot of supporters to help motivate you.

 

One little story Laura Bennett wanted to talk about is how she became the CEO and cofounder of pet insurance. “when I graduated I worked for an insurance company but then I wanted to run my own company because one time in college my friends cat got sick and she had to pay a lot of money and we said that tis was unfair that you had to pay a lot of money for such a little thing like your cat getting sick.so we decided to create an organization of pet insurance which means we could lower the amount of money that you wouldn’t have to pay. Our organization was a success. And I am proud till this day”.

 

Some future goals Laura Bennett want to happen or hopes to happen in the future is she said she hopes for more people to insure their pets because it really helps it saves you money. Also a future goal she said she hopes for her business to grow.
