“Clevelanders always wanted an aquarium so I helped make it possible”. Thanks to Tami Brown, a successful local business woman, this dream is a reality. She is acting as General Manager of the new Cleveland Aquarium. The Cleveland Aquarium was built in 2013. Since, she’s General Manager of this latest Cleveland tourist site, she has to plan very precisely and work harder than you would with a customary job.

Brown really does care about her job. She said, “I wouldn’t know where I’d be without it”. Her life didn’t go exactly how she planned, but at the end she says “I love my job”.  One of the reasons she thinks her job is one of the best is because she loves to look at the amazing sea creatures and different corals. “I also hope we can get a sea turtle soon because I adore them.”

When I asked Brown about what she’s passionate about she said many different topics. One of them was “succeeding in life”. She said that because whatever she wants to do she “wants to be the very finest at it.” It would make her really delighted to know that no one can do it like her. She’s always brainstorming ways she could make Cleveland a better place. Also, she wants to help Cleveland be a more exhilarating place to visit for locals and tourists.

Brown says she was very interested in the cause to help Cleveland get an aquarium. She also was interested in helping grow the city of Cleveland. Many Clevelanders desired an aquarium experience, and Brown has made this come true. Brown absolutely and positively loves Cleveland. Brown says “After all I lived her for 23 ½ year.” Tami Brown is focused on Cleveland by enhancing and reviving the downtown attractions. “I am hoping that we can continue to grow and draw more guests so we can inspire people to care for our environment. And to protect the animals who live underwater”.

Although it’s hard to figure out what you want to be when you grow up she knew but then had to think twice. She went to Canton McKinley High School and loved it. But, first she wanted to be a ballerina, then an artist, after that she just decided to go to Miami State University. She majored in business and studied speech and communication for 4 years and minor in French.

I really admire Tami Brown. All of her success she reached is amazing. She is really my true role model. Without her, think of the things that wouldn’t be accomplished. I certainly do like all the unlimited things she’s doing for Cleveland. So I want to thank her for the things she’s doing to make our community better.
